This guide explains the signed-in Companion experience on the Royal Arch Masons Ontario website.

1. Signing in

Use the Log In option on the public website and enter your approved account credentials. After signing in, the Companion primary menu becomes available.

Practice: Sign in and identify the changes to the primary navigation.

2. Understanding the Companion menu

  • GC Events: Grand Chapter event information.
  • Chapter Events: Chapter regular meetings, Chapter social events and District events.
  • Grand Chapter Organization: Organizational and Chapter information.
  • Directory: Available directory information.
  • Forms: Forms and related resources.
  • Log Out: End the signed-in session.
  • Help: Guides and task-oriented assistance.

Practice: Open three menu sections and return to the main navigation.

3. Grand Chapter events

Select GC Events to view Grand Chapter event information. The Grand Chapter calendar is maintained separately from the site’s Chapter and District event-management workflows.

Practice: Locate the Grand Chapter events calendar and identify an event.

4. Chapter and District events

Open Chapter Events and review the available event listings. Distinguish Chapter regular meetings, Chapter social events and District-owned events.

Public event information does not necessarily indicate that every event is open to everyone.

Practice: Find an event, read its details and identify its category.

5. Grand Chapter Organization

Use this section to explore the organizational structure, Districts and Chapters and the information available through the public-facing interfaces.

Practice: Locate Chapter information and return to the organization overview.

6. Using the Directory

Select Directory to explore the entries available to your account. Only use personal or organizational information for appropriate Masonic purposes.

Practice: Open the Directory and become familiar with its available search and navigation controls.

7. Accessing Forms

Select Forms to find the forms and instructions available through the website. Review the purpose and requirements of a form before using it.

Practice: Locate the Forms section and identify where instructions are provided.

8. Help and logging out

Use Help whenever you need instructions. Help articles are public, but reading an administrative guide does not grant administrative authority.

A standard Companion account does not provide WP Admin or GCO2 administrative access.

Use Log Out when you have finished your session, especially on a shared computer.
